At Teal (“we”, “us”, “our”), we care about your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information Teal collects, how it is used, and what choices you have.

1. Information We Collect
1.1 Photos Access (Required for Core Features)
Teal may request access to your Photos library so you can select images to edit and export. We will request your permission through your device before accessing your photos.
1.2 Photos Are Not Uploaded
Unless you explicitly choose to share/export content yourself, Teal does not upload your photos to our servers. Your photos remain stored on your device.
1.3 Subscriptions and Purchases (Apple App Store / StoreKit)
If Teal offers paid features (including subscriptions), purchases are processed by Apple using App Store / StoreKit. We do not receive your full payment details (such as credit card number). Apple may process information related to purchases in accordance with Apple’s Privacy Policy:

1.5 Analytics / Tracking
At this time, Teal does not collect analytics for tracking purposes and does not use advertising identifiers (e.g., IDFA).
2. How We Use Information
We use information only to:
- provide app functionality (photo selection/edit/export),
- process subscriptions through Apple,
- respond to support requests, and
- maintain security and prevent abuse.
3. Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information.
We may disclose information only in limited circumstances:
- With your consent (for example, if you request a specific action that involves sharing),
- Legal compliance (if required by law, legal process, or authorities),
- Protection of rights and safety (to protect Teal, users, or the public).
4. Data Retention
- Teal does not store your photos on our servers.
- Support emails/messages (if you contact us) are retained only as long as needed to respond and maintain records for security and abuse prevention, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
5. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information we handle. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure.
6. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete certain personal information.
Because Teal does not maintain user accounts or store photos on our servers, most app usage data stays on your device.

Teal is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
